Period Barn Conversion

We were tasked with restoring and renovating the existing two storey barn to provide a semi-detached 2 bedroom holiday cottage.

As part of the renovation, we retained and enhanced many period features including the original chimney breast and fitted new timber A-frames to create a vaulted ceiling in the first floor living accommodation. We re-pointed the original walls with lime mortar and removed and re-laid the original Delabole Rag slate roof. The project was finished with a granite cobbled paved driveway.

Thomas Gay has done a lot of work for me. If you need a builder to give you a very good outcome to your dreams, Tom is the man to call. Everything he tackles, he gives it 100%. He will always find a way to make it happen for you. The end result is a very professional and satisfactory job. He is also the nicest, kindest man you could meet. He is my guardian angel.
