CONVERSIONS & RENOVATIONS

We specialise in the conversion and renovation of period and Listed buildings, including derelict cottages, period barns and traditional farmhouses.

We understand the nature of period buildings and have a sympathetic approach to restoration and conversion using natural, locally sourced materials, including Delabole Rag slate and flagstones, Cornish granite and lime mortar. We work with our clients to retain period features, whilst providing a modern and contemporary finish where required, completed to current Building Regulations standards.

NEW BUILDS

Our new build methods include traditional masonry and timber frame construction. We have strong connections with local, reputable contractors ensuring all aspects of the project, from initial groundworks, electrics and plumbing are completed to the highest standard. We work with architects to ensure your new build is completed in accordance with the plans and signed off to current Building Regulations standards.   

EXTENSIONS

We work for both domestic and non-domestic clients, providing additional space for a variety of purposes, from restaurant and farm shop extensions, to domestic living accommodation. Depending on your requirements, we complete works to shell and core ready for fit out, or through our local connections with reputable suppliers and contractors, we can source and install a range of quality kitchens and bathrooms. Our work is completed to current Building Regulations standards.

ROOFING

Our roofing work ranges from new roofs, to minor and larger repairs. We work with a variety of coverings including modern slate, Cornish Rag slate and tiles, and different roof structures, including pitched, hipped and flat roofs.

Our work includes constructing and fitting timber A-frames to support a new pitched roof, stripping and replacing existing roof coverings, including new lead valleys and minor removal, replacement and renewal works.

GROUNDWORKS & LANDSCAPE GARDENING

We provide a full groundworks and landscape gardening service. Our works include ground excavation for new builds and extensions, new paved driveways, stone walling, patios and general landscaping.

Our recent works have included removing and replacing existing patios and boundary walls with new, reusing existing materials where possible, ground excavation works for restaurant and farm shop extensions, and a new granite cobbled paved driveway.
